FC Entry List 2017

Ten days before we were all planning to meet in Troutdale Oregon for the start of the 2017 Hagerty Fall Classic, a Forest Fire was started roughly 50 miles away from our start hotel. Initially things looked okay, but three days later the fire had grown to 30,000 acres and ash was falling on our start hotel. With evacuation lines a mere 100ft away, we made the tough decision to cancel the 2017 Hagerty Fall Classic.

With the cancellation, however, we suddenly found ourselves with a weekend free and no driving event. We contemplated the long list of car projects waiting in the garage, and quickly realized we’d rather be driving. A scouring of the maps found a route free of predictable natural disasters, and the 2017 Hagerty Fall Classic Alternate was born!
