Pingback: 2012 Spring Thaw – ENTRIES OPEN | Classic Car Adventures
Hi:
I mailed my entry Dec.6 2011 am. but am not on the list. Please let me know if you haven’t received it by this Friday (Dec 9).
Thanks,
Bob Witzel
I printed the available form on the website in the morning of Dec 05, 2011, and mailed it on Dec 05, 2011. Although mailed from the USA, I expect you should have received the entry form and check as of Dec 12, 2011. Perhaps the USPS mail delivery service is as slow as has been noted?
Stay tuned…we don’t get our mail until late afternoon!
I’m surprised not see my name on the entry list. The check and application were mailed 06 Dec from Seattle. My son and I have had great drives with you guys and I would hate to miss this one.
Yeah, we mailed ours on Dec. 5, I think. Hope we make it!!
We have received a number of entries today (Bob Hartwig, Phil, etc) …we are out and about for the evening and will have the list updated tomorrow.
Don’t panic folks! There’s still room…
(PS – Canada Post takes a little longer than USPS…don’t be surprised if it hasn’t arrived within 3-4 days of sending it)
Hey Bob, Tony owes you a ride so if you and Cam don’t make it in you can ride in the backseat of his Thunderbird.
Assuming we make it in… and that the Thunderbird is running.
Hmmm… nevermind.
Chris
Sounds like Chris is trying to recruit some pushers.
Bob and Cam, the smart muscle rides with me – my little SAAB is half as hard to push as Tony’s T-Bird. And just as absent from this list, so far.
I realize that it does take longer for letters to get from Central Washington to Canada, but I had our entry form in the mail on Dec. 5. Sure hope it shows up soon!
Looks like a great variety of cars, again!
Barb
just noticed that it is open today, so save me a spot….i am mailing today..keinan from nelson-renault 16
Sounds like chris is offering to buy seat belts for the back seats…. The entry has been mailed in – fingers crossed.
T.
Just a note for those who don’t see their name above. I wouldn’t worry too much if your entry still hasn’t arrived…history has proven that we have some drop-outs from the usual list. Cars don’t get finished, and spots open up!
Is there a possibility that there will be openings for 60 this year as mentioned earlier?
Yes, when/if hotels and meal arrangements are confirmed to accommodate that many people.
It appears that the qualifing entries are based on when the actual Entry Form is Received as opposed to the Post Marked Date on the envelope as is the norm. Wow! It apparently took almost 3 weeks for a 1st Class letter mailed & Post Marked Dec 05 from the USA to arrive in B.C. Canada!
